THE THOR SUIT

Thor UHP Armour was founded 2019 and a process aiming to develop the most advanced UHP PPE on the market was initiated. The development proved to be far more complicated than anticipated, but after close to four years we finally succeeded.

In cooperation with a large Swedish textile manufacturer, specialized in advanced materials, we can now present our Ultra High Pressure Safety Suit. We call it the Thor suit. With sewing factories in Sweden and the Baltic states we have the capacity and logistics to take on large orders and deliver on time without compromising quality.

Our ambition throughout the development process was to manufacture the softest and most flexible UHP suit on the market without compromising safety. We believe we succeeded.

Foot protection

Avoid unnecessarily costly and/or bulky gaiters with our foot protection. When our suit is used the trousers overlap the top of the foot protection and the feet is thereby given the same protection as all other protected areas.

Apron

Our apron is an alternative for situations when a full suit is not deemed necessary. It does not cover as much of the body, but for work in very high temperatures overheating might be risk factor that makes our apron a good choice. It is simple to put on and adjust.

Official test results

Official test results from the notified body of the European Union.

Note that testing parameters can be altered to give the outcome a better appearance. Our test is identical to the market leading suit and much tougher than the tests used by other manufacturers.

Notice!

This garment has been tested under the parameters shown in the table. The test simulates a hypothetical situation. It is impossible to construct a garment that would offer full protection in all situations that might occur while working.

Examples are that swipe speed could be slower than in the test or be stationary, the water flow could be different, or a different type of nozzle could be used. There are many factors that might influence the outcome of an accident and wearing the garment is no guarantee that an injury will be prevented. Properly worn, the garment is likely to improve the users safety substantially. Note that only grey areas are protected. They mark where the protective fabrics are situated within the garment. Other areas offer no protection. Inspect and ensure that the garment is not damaged before each use. Thor UHP Armour takes no responsibility for injuries, but our garments offer a higher level of safety than when working unprotected.
